RE: 1938 FA Cup Final
I have finally got my original 1938 fa cup final Huddersfield Town v Preston North End, back from the restorer's and although it has been a long wait (over 2 months). I must admit the man has done a good job and it was expensive 50 quid. It's not quite in mint condition, but it is not far off. So if anyone reading this is; I have for sale a 1938 fa cup final, I will accept 320.00, here some close up scans of it now. I will of course put this program on Ebay. If you want to see how this programme looked before restoration scroll down to an earlier listing. Thanks for looking.

1975 fa cup final west ham united v fulham
Well I have got another unlikely FA Cup Final this being the 1975 West Ham v Fulham, the Hammers fully deserved there win as you can see by the video below. The programme that accompanied this final is relatively common and cheap to buy, nonetheless I still have a copy for sale in my Ebay shop. Thanks for looking.

1965 fa cup final Liverpool v Leeds United
The Kop were in fine form for this match and I think it helped Liverpool to a 2 - 1 victory, although it took extra time to break - down a stubborn Leeds United side. I have included a short Pathe Video of some of this match.

1963 FA Cup Final Souvenir Package Leicester v Man Utd
The 1963 FA Cup Final Leicester City v Manchester United, Uniteds re-emergence as one of the nations top sides continued, as they showed there strength in depth and putting memories of the Munich Air Disaster behind them. I hope you enjoy the images I have made of the items I am selling on Ebay and the Pathe video footage I have obtained of the match. I hope someone leaves a comment sooner or later , as I am beginning to think that this blog is a complete waste of my time.

2002 FA Cup Final Arsenal v Chelsea
2002 Was a double winning year for the Gunners and they won this match with 2 excellent goals. As you can see from the video, I have other finals. Although you can probably tell I am biased towards Arsenal, I also include an image of the programme that I am selling on Ebay.

2006 FA Cup Final Liverpool v West Ham United
I thought that I would focus on another hard to get FA Cup Final that being the 2006 Liverpool v West Ham United, for some reason this is another year where there was a low print run. The match itself was uneventful as both teams cancelled one another out, but the one memorable moment was where Steven Gerrard scored an amazing goal. I include an image of the programme and a video recording of that incredible goal. Thanks for reading this.

1960 - 2008 FA Cup Finals (inc replays)
As you may have worked out, this is the 2nd time that I have up for sale this collection of FA Cup Finals and the price has increased, this is due to a combination of factors, but I have also included a modest amount to the price for my time in producing this listing and collecting the programmes. Whether you are the winner or not, I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed my blog, do feel free to email me or leave a comment. I include a close up (above) scan of the rare 1993 FA Cup Final Replay, this is probably the rarist and certainly one of the hardest of the modern day cup finals to get. If you have a flash player I certainly recommend viewing the post below this. Thanks for reading/watching and feel free to leave comments.

1938 FA Cup Final Huddersfield Town v Preston North End.
Well I know this blog is very infrequent and not many people know about it. But that it is the way it is, but here is an FA Cup Final as of the title this particular copy is not in particularly good condition, ie it has rust spots, holes, the staples removed and some pencil marks on team page. If it doesn't sell maybe I will get it professionally restored. But for the moment I am just happy to let it sit on Ebay in my shop. Well here are some images of the aforementioned programme.

1934 FA Cup Final - Portsmouth v Manchester City
Hi all here is another feather in my quest for gaining and adding to my FA Cup Final Collection, this is my first FA Cup Final Programme from the 1930's. This the 1934 final Portsmouth v Manchester City. It's a pity I have to sell these programmes, but we live in hard times and my kids come before my FA Cup Final Collection. There aren't to many of these around. So one never knows! but I've included some scans and a fireworks made image.

6 Arsenal FA Cup Finals
Well I've choosen these set of cup finals firstly because I am selling them by auction in my Ebay shop and secondly I like the image I created and thirdly I need to sell something and it's half price listing day. To get to this Ebay listing click on the title of this post. Not only that but all of these finals have Arsenal in them. Arsenal have reached the FA Final a whopping 10 times only Manchester United have more appearances with 11. But although the FA Cup has become commercialised to some extent , I think that it will always retain that piece of nostalgia that makes it the FA Cup Final.

Graphics for images
As with all the items I sell not only do I do a background template with my logo on it, I import other images and pictures, I either scan them, use my camera or get them from the internet. So successful has this been that I have found other Ebayers using my designs. I get quite an ego boost when I find someone using my designs and whoever it is, is welcome to them. Here are some examples of images that I have created. I know I have gone right off the subject of FA Cup Finals, but I promise the next post will be about an FA Cup Final.

1966 World Cup Final England v West Germany
Here is the first of such a final that 1966 match, that was Englands greatest footballing achievement that being the World Cup Final England v West Germany. It's doubtful that the England team will ever be able to reach the W.C.F. again, but in 1966 they had ateam of heroes that could and did win this fabulous tournament. ORIGINAL PROGRAMMES are aplenty, but still fetch a high price tag. Over 100 pounds is the norm, so popular are these programmes that there are several reprints. I myself have bought at least 2 reprints, thinking that they are originals, it is not until you have the programme that you can ascertain whether or not it is genuine.
1. See the pattern on Earl of Harewood's tie.
2. Weighs exactly 128 grams ( reprints are lighter)
3. Cigarette label on back page is red not orange.
4. Cover Chelsea Blue
These are just some of the tests one can spot a reprint. Yes that is Jackie Charlton's signature on the back of an original I once had. Of the other 2 one is genuine and one is a reprint can you spot the difference. This can be difficult task. But I currently have an original for sale @ Mickey's Bric a Brac
1950 FA Cup Final - Arsenal v Liverpool
1950 FA Cup Final - Arsenal v Liverpool
This is another one of those programmes which can be hard to find and cost well over 125 pounds. I had it and sold it. The market for these old programmes is like every other market in that it's in continuous flux, and often hardcore collectors will think nothing of investing several hundred or even thousands of pounds.
1948 FA Cup Final
Here is a comparatively rare football programme; the 1948 FA Cup Final Blackpool v Manchester United is one that has had various reprints and numerous souvenir editions. But the final programme itself is worth more, because of it's scarity. I have recently bought one of the originals and I know that it is as rare as hens teeth.
The one I have is not in brilliant mint condition but I would be very surprised to come into another one in a while.

FA Cup Finals 1
Welcome to FA Cup Finals
I have decided to start this blog in order to help people understand the nature and passion surrounding the oldest football trophy in the world. Ever since I was child and I was born in 1962, I always had an urge to collect FA Cup Final Programmes, for some reason I wanted to gather every cup final since I was born. With the advent of the internet it was and is possible.
Although I am finding my hobby an expensive one! The older FA Cup Finals and even some of the newer ones attract high prices and it is not unheard of too hear of a programme or ticket selling for several thousand pounds.
But the thing is it's not just about the money, there is a certain amount of charm, passion and even addiction to collecting these finals and the history surrounding this footballing cup. Rather than starting with the earliest and working my way through, I am going to start with the cup final I want. I am for my sins an Arsenal fan, and a cherished memory of mine was the 1971 FA Cup final Arsenal v Liverpool. It is entrenched in my mind of when Charlie George scored for Arsenal and celebrated by laying down in the Liverpool Penalty
area. This was a special moment because not had Arsenal already won the League by beating Spurs in their last game but they also became the 2nd team to achieve the elusive double. Tottenham Hotspurs being the 1st in 1961.
